This is a place where all men can share and grow together in our changing times. What are we, who are we and where will we go to find the answers that burn in our minds & hearts?
The links placed on this page might inspire or challenge but hopefully inform you about what is happening in the world of men. A world that as a
human you are part of. Sometimes a world you might feel you are not part of but might become.
So I hope this will create an inquisitiveness and desire to become more involved in your life, other lives of men and maybe your communities.
Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.

The life of the creative man is lead, directed and controlled by boredom. Avoiding boredom is one of our most important purposes.

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
EDWARD DE BONO
It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.
LINUS PAULING
The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas.

Our Suns of MAC group in 2011 was two years old and going strong. We have found over this period that for many reasons some men are apprehensive about coming. So we have made this eight minute clip to show you what you might expect at one of our monthly gatherings. If it strikes a chord and you would like to come along, please do. All men are welcome.
We have no age limit and encourage a mix of ages and interests. We are based in Aberdeenshire, NE Scotland.
Our dates of meeting etc can be found on our international network site which you might want to join at
This video clip highlights one of the challenges of our male society and how one man (washuntara) has and is making a difference in his society for many, many years. Not every man can do this but maybe some of us can in our Aberdeenshire community....the truth is we have MEN suffering out there. Any ideas? I would love to hear them and give support to them! - Jason

A man has the opportunity to begin making new choices for his life, and he gets a clear sense of the costs that his past choices have had on himself and others. More info on the link below.
This is a very creatively produced collection of testimonials from men who have experienced The ManKind Project's men's personal growth workshop entitled The New Warrior Training Adventure. The men in this video speak very candidly about how the work they have done within MKP has dramatically impacted their lives, offering a great sense of self and purpose towards a greater good.
To learn the truth about MKP, talk to a man who is involved and visit our web site. Over 42,000 men have participated in our NWTA training worldwide - most men have had powerful and positive life-changing experiences. Experience it yourself.

In my opinion the Mankind Project and the New Warrior Training in the UK has been a very beneficial experience for me in my life. I participated in it in September 2009 in Embercombe, England. It has had a very positive impact on my views about myself and my relationship with my teenage son has also benefited. It really depends on where you are in your life if this will benefit you.
Some of us local men had a vision to create this opportunity in Scotland and it took took place at Applecross in 2010. Since then there is now the centralised new home of the NWTA weekends which is at The Comb, Northumberland. A wild and beautiful place in the borders of Scotland and England.
