This is a place where all men can share and grow together in our changing times. What are we, who are we and where will we go to find the answers that burn in our minds & hearts?

The name for the group of men came to me after working with a group of confrontational teenagers in Aberdeen, late one night. For the last nine years I have been youth working amongst different city and shire communities.

In some beliefs the male is represented by the sun. We are also living in Scotland although many of us are not Scottish, I feel the connection to the culture and the land and the word Mac means 'son of'. So on one level this means we carry the potential within us to be the light (sun) of 'the son of '.... your family.

Also what came was that MAC can also stand for Men Accepting Child. I feel that there is a deep inner need to accept the boy that is living within us, that might never have been acknowledged and recognised in becoming the man you now are.

The image of the Earth taken from space represents the Elders(adult) head and the Sun represents the boys head.

There are many other visual stimulie/layers to this logo that might create an effect within you to.
